Hunts Alberta

Misty River Outfitters offers remote riverboat hunts for Canadian moose and Giant black bears. Our camp is nestled in off the banks of the Athabasca river. Our camp is only accessible by our jet boats or float plane. We hunt Bears in the spring of the year over well established bait sites and Moose in late fall during the rut. Our camp consists of a big hunters cabin and several wall tents with wooden floors for a cook tent and the guides. We also have a shower and all the amenities needed for a great stay. Just a stone throw from camp is some of the best walleye and northern pike fishing in Alberta.  Each bear hunter can harvest two bears and our color phase numbers are some of the best in the province. 

We also run a remote camp for moose with ATV's that we move according to where our pre season scouting tells us the best moose numbers are. We don't like to over hunt any one area to keep from hurting our moose numbers. Also if available our hunters can add a bear licence to there hunt and take in some fall bear action.
